I think Lisa told me to write about the wedding, so after trying to remember what my password was for this and spending a while trying to figure out how to actually add a new entry, here I am.

Uh...I graduated two years ago, proposed to Lisa on a beach almost a year ago, and got married up at High Street Community Church a little over two months ago. We went to Hawaii for the honeymoon and then headed to the east coast for a Chinese banquet that my parent threw for us.

I'll get around to posting pictures for the wedding/honeymoon sooner or later.

I currently work for a computer software company in Watsonville. I deal with graphics software (3d modeling, 3d animation, 2d animation, and 2d comics).

And, as a math major (and former physics major), I must say that this is quite accurate:

Wow, so it's been a year to the day that I've updated this.  Umm...so...yeah...  A lot has happened in this past year.  Last winter break, my mom remarried to a guy who loves her very much and tries his best to make her happy.  I miss my dad.  For those of you who don't know, he passed away when I was 12.  My step-dad was a good friend of my parents.

Spring quarter, I withdrew from my first class ever.  Math 105 (Real Analysis) is some tough stuff.  Over the summer, I stayed in Santa Cruz with several of the guys from my InterVarsity Christian Fellowship group, one of whom was my roommate for that past two years (and still going).  I got a job at Longs and worked there for the summer, saving up money for the school year.  With fall quarter over now, I'm thinking I probably failed Math 103 (Complex Analysis).  Darn those analyses.  Ah well.  I trust God on this.

God's been so amazing these past few months.  I've seen him work in so many ways, both in myself and in my friends' lives.  It's so amazing, I don't know how else to put it.

Right now, I'm staying in Santa Cruz for winter break.  My entire family up'ed and moved to Maryland, so my permanent residence is no longer in Sacramento.  God's been working in my sister after she moved there too; it's sooooo cool.  It's so quiet and devoid of humans here, especially after Daniel left (he stayed an extra week here before going home, and left today).

Next quarter, three math classes, all 20 minutes apart from one another, for three days a week, not including sections and whatnot.  Oi.

Well, if anyone wants updates of me more than once a year, go to http://www.livejournal.com/users/stargatejaffa/.

Yeah...sorry about that.  I was busy playing the new Mario Kart game all this time...  In regards to the church question, I'm thinking about going to High Street Community.  Santa Cruz Bible is great and all, but I like the closer/tighter-knit atmosphere at High Street.  School-wise, I might've barely passed Math 23A, and I think I did okay on Accounting and Writing 1.  I see you've one more final to go...at 7:30 in the morning...eww...good luck...

So I watched about 2 minutes of Gilmore Girls (...stop laughing...) as I was channel surfing today.  The mom and the daughter were talking about how they kept having "relationships" instead of "dates."  Longest 2 minutes ever.  Stargate SG-1 rocks!

I'm heading down to LA tomorrow, which means no internet access for a while.  But in the meantime, you can peruse http://www.geocities.com/ttomaktt/matthall/index.html, the newest comic strip I've decided to play around with.  Ta ta.

Hmm, I guess I'm kinda using this as a message board now...but seeing as how I don't see you on my AIM anymore, this'll have to do.  Amanda, Caroline, and a junior named Yu-Hua are in the suite now.  A bunch of us go down there to watch Stargate SG-1 every Monday night.  You need to watch (and get hooked on) Stargate SG-1 too!  Let's see...I'm still trying to take over the world.  Eric just had a dream last night where I controlled an army of Green Berets and I was gonna do something to the sun.  That sounded like fun.

Huh?  Wha?  You mean you're still frequenting this place?  I've pretty much abandoned it, as you can tell from me not responding for nearly three weeks.

Descartes' neat.  Other than returning students, our number of Christians in this house is... *counts fingers* ...one.

I'm surrounded by anime fans.  Again.  And the dining hall food is already horrible.

But most important of all, WE MISS YOU!  I gave up that suite because of you and Jessica, and neither of you came back!  Grr!
